Buy from the source
There is no middle man. We reclaim our own stones. We import our own Belgian Blocks straight from a quarry dedicated to us. We ship from our yard in New York directly to you. That's how you get knowledgeable people on the phone, availability of material and consistency in product quality at the best prices.
What to expect from our stones
1. All dimensions
Belgian blocks come in various sizes, typically categorized as jumbo, regulation, and cube. Choose the size that best fits your project’s scale and design. Larger blocks work well for large driveways or grand pathways, while smaller blocks are better for intricate designs and borders.
2. Uniformity
The blocks in each pallet will have consistent sizing and shape. Minor variations in size are common in new Belgian blocks. Reclaimed stones will be true to their average indicated size.
3. Color
New belgian blocks come in shades of grey, black, pink, and buff. Choose a color that complements the surrounding landscape or architectural elements. Grey is the most classic, but multi-colored or mixed tones can add character and interest. With Reclaimed stones, expect a dark and beaten look with often a smooth side.
4. Cut quality
With new blocks, the edges and surfaces of each block are cleanly cut and not chipped. A consistent cut quality helps with a more even, easier and stable installation. With reclaimed blocks, every stone will have rounded edges and corners.
5. Reliability
With Chief, you'll have consistency in the batch you receive. Feel free to ask about our quality control process. We'll gladly let you inspect a sample batch in person to check for color and size uniformity.
